Fiat 500L will debut in Geneva
Fiat unveiled the first official pictures of the new model 500L, which makes its world premiere will be at the International Geneva Motor Show, March 6 this year. Letter “L” in the name is to suggest that this is a larger version of the basic model 500 (L = “large” or “large” in English). 500 L will join the family “pięćsetek” next version of the Abarth and Cabrio.
According to the manufacturer, Fiat 500 L will have a spacious interior characteristic of MPV-type vehicle, and on the way to give the driver and passengers feel that the small SUV traveling. In one word Fiat 500L is an alternative to the traditional products of the segment B and C.
Fiat 500 L is 414 cm long, 178 cm wide and 166 cm in height and can carry five people. It is also the result of evolutionary development of the “cab forward” introduced by the Fiat 600 Multipla model.
500L will be manufactured at a factory in Serbia, and for sale in Europe will come in the last quarter of this year. The engine at the beginning of unit will include two gasoline engines (TwinAir and 1.4-liter) and the turbodiesel 1.3 Multijet II.
