New Aston Martin V12 Zagato
Aston Martin has released the first pictures of the new model V12 Zagato, which will come into production later this year. New Aston Martin V12 Zagato is a top model series Vantage. Zagato variant another two coming on the market for 50 years – the first was a model DB4GT Zagato.
Design work on the New Aston Martin V12 Zagato has started in early 2010, he was responsible for the styling of an Aston Martin chief designer, Marek Reichman and his team. New Aston Martin V12 Zagato had to refer to the DB4GT Zagato, yet pave new stylistic directions.
In spring 2011, we established the first two concept cars. In May 2011 New Aston Martin V12 Zagato officially debuted during a competition of elegance at Villa d’Este in the class “concepts and prototypes,” and took in the first place. In June of last year’s New Aston Martin V12 Zagato appeared on the Nürburgring to take part in the famous 24-hour endurance race and completed it. Since the model was warmly welcomed by potential customers, in July 2011 the Board of Aston Martin has decided to produce a limited edition of 150 copies New Aston Martin V12 Zagato. Since then, the design team has further refined the details of the model.
Production of all New Aston Martin V12 Zagato takes about 2000 hours. His body is mounted manually from aluminum and carbon fiber, and then varnishing one of four special colors chosen for this model: silver (Scintilla Silver), green (Alloro Green), blue (Alba Blue) or red (Diavolo Red). The painting process takes 100 hours.
Such a commitment on the part of artisans creating a New Aston Martin V12 Zagato has a price – customers will have to spend on this model, at least 330 000 pounds sterling. Before the fall will go to the showrooms, production version of the New Aston Martin V12 Zagato will be in March at the Geneva International Motor Show.
